Color: Deep shiny garnet with touches of apple red on the rim.
On the Nose: Beautiful nose of ripe blackberries, cedar wood, cinnamon, fern, black truffle with a hint of minerality.
On the Palate: Soft & velvety entrance, evolving on a fresh mid-palate and lingering on fresh cut elderberries, tomato sauce, oregano and bay leaf.
James Suckling, 94 Points: "A firm and silky red with blackberry and blueberry character. Full-bodied, yet tight and focused with an extremely pretty texture and great precision. Pretty wine. Drink in 2020."
Jeb Dunnuck, 94 points: "A step up over the 2014, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has more mid-palate depth, as well as ripe tannin. Offering similar notes of blueberries, blackberries, crushed rock, violets and earth, with just a touch of background oak, this full-bodied effort carries plenty of underlying structure, good purity of fruit, and a great finish. Give it 2-3 years and enjoy over the following two decades."
