95 Points - DOUBLE GOLD - San Francisco International Wine Competition
This wine shows a fine, deep red/black color with harmonious and lifted aromas. Blueberry notes have evolved to darker blackberry notes and the aromatics of this wine retain their bright fruit expression but are reaching the “tipping point” between fruit and the complex of aromas of aging. The wine’s entry on the palate is rich, with a distinctive tannin structure and texture reminiscent of dark chocolate, with flavors of black plums. Danelle Rosati recommends decanting beforehand.
