$ 20.00Brilliant salmon rosy pink in the glass. Very light and fresh on the nose with tropical notes of apricot, key lime, white strawberry and mango; secondary aromas of crushed rose petal and wet gravel add depth to the fruit-forward nose. On the palette, this vintage is marked by bright berry acidity and dry extract richness and creaminess. Flavors of ripe peach, Meyer lemon, raspberry and pineapple dominate while the long, juicy finish lingers with notes of pink grapefruit and a touch of cherry stone. This bottling begs for food with its broad mouthfeel with a counterbalance of citrus. A great example of what the Russian River Valley can produce with lesser known varietals.
