"Offers wonderful richness and focuses on juicy, structured blackberry, cedar, anise and light loamy earth flavors, A very complete and compelling display of power and finesse, showing deft balance. Ends with a long, persistent finish that picks up anise and fresh dirt details. Drink now through 2034." - J.L
On the palate, it is full weight with plenty of dark fruit, espresso bean, and dark chocolate with a touch of oak, and a long, complex finish.
"Floral, perfumed aromas of fermentation are charming, et this is a more aggressive with tannins. The core flavors of blackverry, currant and licorice are vivid and well-defined. The question is if and when the tannins will bend. Best from 202 through 2034" - J.L., Wine Spectator

Only 180 cases were produced of the inaugural 2016 vintage of Anthem Sauvignon Blanc. This exquisite white Bordeaux is comprised of 81 % Sauvignon Blanc and 19% Semillon from the Carsi Ranch Vineyard in Napa Valley. Semillon adds a round mouth-feel to balance the bright and tangy flavors of Sauvignon Blanc. On the palate, this wine dances with fresh hints of lemongrass, ginger, and grapefruit, followed by a smooth and juicy finish.
The Carsi Ranch Vineyard is owned by V. Sattui and named after Vittorio Sattui's birthplace. It is located on the border of Yountville and Oak Knoll's AVAs.
