Tasting Notes
Docker Hill is the top of the hill near relatives property, owners spend time between Mendocino County and New England where they have a chain of hardware stores. The owners love this Rose and wanted Bee Hunter to purchase the all the grapes from the vineyard, however, they decided to share it with a good wine making friend of theirs from Dutton Gold - Dan Goldfield. This is family land that belonged to the wife’s family (Carson). Her Mom always wanted a vineyard to be planted there. Also, the Miwok and Pomo indians would trade their wares ( pelts and abalone) for goods on this land.
Spicy nose with candy cherry, the mouth is ripe cherry, strawberry, rich mid-palate, long structured finish. Yum! Andy - “No wonder it's my favorite.”
